What's new in Honolulu

2008 has brought change and good blessings!
Starting in January, Jessica transitioned out of the position of resource dietitian and moved within her company to a new position at Pali Momi Hospital covering the telemetry & medical/surgical units. The staff at this hospital are great to work with! This is a picture taken during National Nutrition Month with her manager - Renee.

Jesse finished his time time at AIM Heath care this past November and is launching his own window washing business..."Royal Panes Window Cleaning". He had a great opportunity to go to California this past January to learn the ropes of window washing (and see his great friend Chris Skaggs). He also started working at Hope Chapel part-time managing the Courtyard Cafe. These have been great experiences to build leadership and entrepreneurial skills.

God has called us out of leading mini-church into attending "Love Life". This has been a great season to build upon the foundation of our marriage. We have been meeting with Love Life mentors Dean & Jan Fox ~ wonderful blessings to us along with three other younger couples. This has been a blessing to grow together and learn how to plant the "Mara-ja-whanna-have seeds".

We have been blessed by having friends and family come to town! In January Jessica's parents (Bill & Vicki), brother & sister-in-law (Josh & Boo), and aunt & uncle (Mike & Debbie) came for a visit and in February Jesse's parents (Scott & Brenda) came out for a visit! In March we also had friends and family passing through Oahu on vacation: Denny & Lisa Oakes, and Matt & Asheley Norman (CFC family); Jessica's Uncle Rick and cousin Aaron; Lenny and Lanette Strimaitis & sons (Newsong family). These were good times to catch up and to see missed loved ones!
