Last weekend we had the privilege to get together with a couple of friends, Troy & Bow. Troy is from Hawaii and Bow is from Thailand. We met Troy and Bow at a Hope Chapel Minichurch (life group/cell group). Jessica and Bow went to Chinatown in Honolulu to pick up some ingredients to make some yummy Thai dishes for dinner. Later that afternoon Troy & Jesse met the girls at their home, on Kaneohe Bay and took the ladies for a kayak ride. They paddled them all around the bay for a beautiful scenic view. It has been a blessing to make new friends.

Your new place looks great! So does the Kayak trip around the bay! It sounds like the Lord is moving you into the right spere for those divine connections. Hawaii is definitely the right place for you to be to reach the Japanese.
Good for you guys, progress is being made. Your neighbors sound like fun, you should invite yourslef over for dinner sometime.

Hey from TN! Isn't it wonderful how God works? You both have met new friends (which for you both was not hard) and you have connected with a church. The church as you described it sounds like the ideal one for you both. If I understand your description it will provide opportunities for you to make short visits to Japan so you can begin planning your ministry. It is awesome! Our prayers are always with you. plfuller
